Like I’ve been saying over and over again, Arsenal had already given up on the Premier League—there’s really nothing left to fight for at this point. If you’ve been following their games, you’ll notice they haven’t even been starting key players in league matches.
Meanwhile, Madrid’s been making a lot of noise about comebacks, but we’ll see how that plays out. Wednesday isn’t far off
Arsenal are more focused on the match against Real Madrid in the second leg of UCL, they managed to get through the last match without a single player being injured. Withdrawing from the EPL title race was a must as it was almost impossible to catch Liverpool points tally.
Regarding Real Madrid situation under pressure after losing 3-0 on aggregate in the first leg, they will try to make a comeback, but I'm not sure they can do it considering Real Madrid have never scored against Arsenal when the two teams have visited.
Yes Arsenal must give up the EPL title in order to advance further in the UCL many doubted Arsenal when they got Real Madrid as their opponent but in reality Arsenal could prove that they were able to defeat the UCL king by scoring a fairly large aggregate so what Arsenal needs to do in the second leg is to maintain the advantage so that Real Madrid cannot make a comeback. In the next match later Real Madrid will play with full pressure the club also lost Camavinga because he got a red card so that will make it easier for Arsenal to beat Real Madrid again.
