When Amorim debuted in EPL, Man United was in 12th position and now they are in 14th position, now all their hopes are on Europa League. Man United must maintain their status as an unbeaten team in the UEL this season if they want to qualify for the semifinals.
Now a tough job awaits Amorim, he must devote all his energy and mind to get Man United on the positive track in the second leg. I hope they don't make mistakes like in the first leg.
I will agree to that assessment but why do I feel like it was 14th position? Why so much pressure on Ruben Amorim? There's nothing tough about his job, I'm done defending these players but reading wanting Ruben Amorim out of Manchester United already has got to be dump. Most of these toxic Manchester United fans has little or no knowledge about football. If Manchester United scale through Lyon with a win on Thursday night then I'll believe they can win the Europa League Competition coz the quality in the competition is also low.
The problem in Manchester United is not the manager, the problem is the current squad formed by wrong transfers. We should ask this not from Amorim but from Erik Ten Hag. Because in Holland, the manager is the architect of Manchester United's current squad. Manchester United even brought Cristiano Ronaldo to the team and got benefit from him, but later the Dutch manager sent Cristiano Ronaldo off the team due to his personal ambitions. Nothing went as Manchester United wanted after that. Perhaps if Cristiano Ronaldo had stayed on the team and been a source of motivation for the players, Manchester United would be at a much different level today.
