You are absolutely right in what you said. And now Amorim is even made dizzy to improve Manchester United's performance which is getting worse until it is nearing the end of the season even though if we look at the Europa League, Manchester United can still be said to be good because they have never lost until the first leg at Lyon's home. But for the second leg later, Amorim must be able to give the best to his players so they can win and not experience the same ridiculous things as happened in the first leg.
When Amorim debuted in EPL, Man United was in 12th position and now they are in 14th position, now all their hopes are on Europa League. Man United must maintain their status as an unbeaten team in the UEL this season if they want to qualify for the semifinals.
Now a tough job awaits Amorim, he must devote all his energy and mind to get Man United on the positive track in the second leg. I hope they don't make mistakes like in the first leg.
Amorim have not done a perfect job so far but it is too early to judge him yet because Manchester United was in obvious disarray before his coming and putting the team back together to a consistent winning team will definitely require some time. What I feel is wrong with the team is more of mentality than anything else because if you check some of the players that have left the team in recent times, they are doing exceptionally well in their new clubs. For instance, Jadon Sancho moved to Chelsea, Antony to Real Betis and Raphaël Varane to Como are all doing great in their respective new clubs, even better than they were in Manchester United. If they can instill a strong winning mentality on the players, it will help a lot.

The performance of Manchester United in their last match against Newcastle leave little to admire about the club and if they carry such weak outing to the Europa league match against Lyon, I'm afraid of what will happen. Some may argue that they were not active in the Newcastle match but that is just a lame excuse for me because every match is supposed to be a building block for the next match and as a team, you don't chose when to perform well and when not to perform well. I just hope Amorim is able to do a good job at talking to the boys so they can scale through this stage of the tournament because the Europa is all they've got for this season.
