Anyone who spends many years in the pool has a better chance of finding a block on the ground, right?
No it is Not better.
But how more hashpower you have so more chance to find a block.
Own mining farm or big rentals.

Best regards and happy mining

So holding a certain hash for many years doesn't result in a block? Like, 60 TH connected for about 2-8 years doesn't increase the chance? I've seen several blocks of that size pop up in the last few years.

Just to also help with understanding, luck is just based on your hashing power vs the network entire hashing power. It's a big lottery and every hash is one entry with a winner about every 10 minutes, after that everyone hashing is back at it! However even at 60TH you will end up a winner sooner or later. Provided network hash rate remains the exact same (which it won't) you will find a block between the next 10 minutes to about 315 years, statistically.
