I have claimed the faucet using VPN many times and never had your issue. Since I used a free VPN, I am sure the IP address was shared between many people.
I remember I got that error a few times and that was not due to someone else claiming the faucet.
I had my freebitco account open in two different devices. I claimed the faucet on one of them without refreshing the page on the other one and therefore the "roll" button was still available on the other device. Since I could see the 'roll' button, after some minutes, I mistakenly thought that an hour has passed. I clicked on "roll" button and I got an error saying "
Someone has already played from this IP in the last hour.".
Well, for me, I've never used VPN on freebitco, and I've never even thought about it since the casino and all of its services is available in my region, I saw no use for VPN most especially since I have nothing to hide in terms of privacy and all that..
And let me say that the fact you used free VPN and never encountered this issue simply means that you are lucky, and this as well may be because there are not many or anybody at all playing on freebitco using that very same VPN product you are using, if there was, you definitely would have gotten this error.
I personally believe that the error comes to those who live in places where there are many people playing on the site, and are also using public ip addresses, so whenever a person claims with one ip, the rest of the person's who use that same ip address will have to wait another hour to try their luck again..
