If the main purpose of using VPN is to bypass the restriction by provider, using servers located as our original country wont work IMO.
For example, I come from Indonesia and I cant access provider such as Relax Gaming with my original IP, do you think I'll be able to play Relax Gaming if I use servers which located in the same country where I live?
It's not bypass geolocation restriction but if you switch your original IP to IP address in another country, you can succeed.
In this case, I will have to change to other country's IP such as Japan, Swiss, etc which is not on the restriction list by the provider.
Without changing it to other country, I wont be able to bypass the restriction by providers which is my main purpose of using VPN.
However, this practice contains risk of geolocation block by automatic detection and block tool of the casino. It can be their solution for customer account security but it can be for other purposes. I don't see taking risk like this is a good practice and I will simply accept the geolocation restriction from the game provider and move on with other game providers as there are many games I can play.
Or alternatively I can find possible other platforms to use, just for playing that game, but this approach only works if the restriction from that game provider is not applied for all their partners.
