I am not targeting any religion, but I am Muslim and I thought maybe some Muslim members might be promoting betting websites, maybe it could be haram earning.
As I already mentioned that I am it targeting any religion. In our religion betting is a big sin and in signature many websites are Betting. So maybe some Muslim are earning from these compaigns.
I don't know if betting is haram in Christianity or not?
Get this right OP that one can be born in a particular religion but does not mean you are a destined to also practice the religion.
So even if you find your relatives gambling, that does not mean they are going contrarily to your religion, they may have chosen their own path to belief which means ... Religious practices is by choice so, let anyone breaking out of it be.
Besides... Gambling is just a social activity which in common is a game of fun that players can just decide to compete on staking some values to keep the game fun and serious for participants.
While I would not criticize any religion, It would had be nice if we could compare the sacrifices or risks in playing the political games and the gambling games.
So you can just ask yourself a personal question that... What is the evil behind gambling compared to the inhuman and dirty games being run in the society as part of politicizing activities which is more supposed to be a religious concern? Or does it mean every of the religious believer in politics are righteous with no sin?
Used politics in the comparison to gambling because they are both social activities that many maybe called social games.
I also don't think if there is a religion that pays their follower not until you work it out based of your religious dedication and sacrifices.
If you go hungry, no one would care about you in the name of religion rather, you will be helped based on family or social relationships with your helper so, I think it is okay for individuals to just live there lives as they are find comfortable with it and when it does not affect their lives negatively which is why gambling responsibly is a major concern.
So I don't think It is Worth criticizing a fellow religious member just because he engages on gambling.
Let me ask, if I am your fellow Muslim believers and as a matter of fact I am a gambler which is against the religious belief and lucky to win mega winning in the lottery, will the community in that your religion deny my obligation to help the society on infrastructure that would benefit the community regarding that I earned the money to execute the project on gambling?
Think deep and tell me what will be the community response or your own to such proposal.
