One of the reason I am pro Bitcoin specifically rather than many other cryptocurrencies and fiat is this precisely. Having a decentralised money without governments and banks interference, fast movements of coins, less paperwork and fees among other stuff are the things that most people want.
Otherwise, profit coming from Bitcoin is as important as the other reasons and I don't consider it as a secondary factor but surely not the most important one also.
