For me? Yeah, I blame myself a lot too, maybe even too much.
But I’d love to hear your story. I’m sure you’ve also been hard on yourself, not just after losses but even after wins.
Can you share a specific moment you’ll never forget? One where you held yourself fully accountable, regretted it deeply, and promised, ‘Never again’?
Some time go late last year I had a couple of games I did predicted and I decided to place a stake on them so as at the time I wanted to risk a certain huge amount but decided to slash by half and then staked the game, to my greatest shock, the whole game was win in their first half and I started blaming myself for not placing the actual stake I wanted to place on that bet, I would have won even more but sadly I had to do with what I got.
One thing about blaming ourselves when we win or loose is how we fail to think about the other side of the story, in a case of losses we fail to see that I we had staked more we would have lost more and probably cried more, in the case of winning where we wished staked more, we forget that if it were to be a loss we would have lost even more , so I learned to be grateful at all points and in every situation because it could have been worse.
