As expected from Barcelona and Psg to go to the semi final. Psg struggled a little bit but were able to advance while Barcelona pretty much easily advanced. Tommorow should be intresting especially the match between Bayern Munich and Inter. Real Madrid still needs a miracle
I would say both clubs had to pass through the difficult routes to actually get to the semi finals, personally it was in the first leg that I actually felt that this Aston Villa team will be able to cause a little trouble for PSG considering the little balanced team they have, but after watching the first leg in France I was surprised and disappointed then my reaction was that PSG will have an easy game in the second leg and probably qualify easily this is because of the way they played the last time they were In England at Anfield, they went two goals ahead and I thought was a mark of more but seriously Aston Villa responded quite well and Showed the world that they were utterly qualified to there.
Their is no excuse for Barca's loss, Dortmund playing at home is not an excuse for Barca to lose the game or did they expect Dortmund to play bad at their home stadium? No I expected a challenge but I didn't expect Barca to be this weak. No one expected Dortmund to win the game to qualify but they did well to at least win the match and that's what impressed me because Barca have been in top form lately and a struggling Dortmund was able to win against them in full game time.
I think those who are actually counting on Barcelona riding freely to the Champions League final have seen a replica of how a game can change within a few minutes. No one would have actually thought Dortmund will get a goal or even win one of the leg. Dortmund who for me were the weakest team among the last eight seriously and they did wonderfully at home, this is a glimpse that the next phase which will be against a better side than Dortmund will be what Barcelona have to prepare for.
