Amorim will try his best to qualify for the Europa League semi-finals. Manchester United are not able to achieve good results in the Premier League matches. In the last match, Manchester United lost 4-1 against Newcastle. We saw very bad defense and goalkeeping from Manchester United.
The opponent of the Europa League, Lyon, is not a weak team. The first leg match was drawn 2-2. However, Lyon's overall gameplay seemed more stable to me. If Manchester United's performance does not improve, I do not see any possibility of United winning against Lyon. In the past few matches, we have seen weak performances from Manchester United.
I also think Manchester United is going to get booted out of the Europa League. Nothing inspirational from the game, almost all the players look like they luck the energy and hunger to win. Their opponents however are taking things too seriously.
Amorim will also have to be sacked at one point, and they bring in another new coach, who will also get butchered after a string of bad results. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the new Manchester United!
