I get the concern, but framing it like “Trump wants to be GOD of the world” veers into hyperbole and weakens the argument. Yes, he has authoritarian tendencies, craves loyalty, and pushes a centralized narrative around MAGA, but that’s more about political branding and power consolidation than some divine world domination plan.

In reality, no political actor operates in a vacuum. Even the most powerful leaders are bound by institutional limits, geopolitical dynamics, and internal resistance. Trump’s approach is populist-nationalist, built around spectacle, grievance politics, and media dominance, not an actual attempt to rule the world like a pharaoh.

If we want to critique him seriously, better to focus on the erosion of democratic norms, the use of disinformation, or the influence he’s had on the judiciary and state institutions, not mythologize him into something he's not. That only plays into the drama he thrives on.
