I have notice that until now that anytime Manchester United failure is mentioned people usually just bring Ten Hag into this discussion, man has been done his part and has left I think it is high time Manchester United fans and Ronaldo fans allow him to rest. Even the great Alex Ferguson made transfer mistakes, fell out with top players and the club moved on from it. One thing that baffles me with this Ten Hag banter and why I think it is coming from a point of hatred is he is never associated with players doing well but his name is quick to be mentioned with players not doing well. He signed wrong players and also did signed and promoted good players
I think your assumption is right, because currently Ten Hag is no longer a coach at Manchester United, so we should all probably try to forget about it. Although I personally also agree that the lowest point experienced by Manchester United was when they were coached by Ten Hag. Because at that time there were so many incidents that happened such as Ten Hag having problems with Ronaldo and Manchester United's performance really declined drastically. So with that, maybe for true Manchester United fans Ten Hag became the coach who was probably the most hated because of that. Because maybe his arrogant attitude towards players who did not think the same as him made him look like a selfish coach.

But in my personal opinion, it is natural for Ten Hag to do that, because he is a coach and he also has the right to manage the team he coaches. But maybe Ten Hag's actions were considered very wrong by Manchester United fans, so that he was cursed by Manchester United fans and even when Ten Hag had left the Manchester United coaching chair, many people still blamed him. Maybe it would be a different story if, for example, Ten Hag managed to bring Manchester United to win the English league or in other European competitions. But it's all in the past and in this European league competition we'll see how far Manchester United will go under Amorim's coaching.
