EDATApp is already live on both Android and iOS and allows users to earn rewards simply by driving with the app’s dashcam active. While the user earns points or tokens, the system passively collects anonymized mobility metadata — such as traffic patterns, road conditions, and even available parking spots. These data points contribute to a decentralized, privacy-first infrastructure layer that could support smart cities, navigation tools, and future AI-based road planning systems.

EDATApp has also formed a strategic partnership with the EnviDa project, which focuses on environmental sensor data collection. Together, they’re building a powerful ecosystem with cross-project token integration planned for Q4 2025.

What I find especially interesting is that EDATApp is a working DePIN use case — not just theory. Users are already mapping thousands of kilometers across Europe while being rewarded for their real-world contributions.
