I think it's best not to advise people to try gambling or betting as way to improve their financial situation.
Because it partially puts the responsibility on the one who makes such advice and at the same time, not every person can control himself well in gambling.
I just think that psychology is full of people who are in a borderline state between control and lack of control, and the appeal to them to try gambling will end up in them learning a lot about themselves. And most likely, this will happen in an unpleasant way.
I agree. Gambling is not for everyone to try because most people won't be able to control the urge if they start getting addicted to it, especially if they manage to win some money initially, which makes them think that they can actually make money from this thing and then they start doing it more often until they become hooked to it and then completely lose control. Even if they don't blame the person who suggested gambling to them, it can ruin their lives, and that person will feel guilty because of that if they're a good human being.
Only those who are either too rich or have a lot of self-control should gamble because the ones who are ultra-rich wouldn't care if they lose and those with a lot of self-control would be able to stay in control when they lose money in gambling, in both cases, no one gets harmed unless the rich guy becomes crazy and starts making million dollar bets and lose everything, lol.
