when you deposit money into a gambling site to play, for example, x amount, how many "x" is enough for you to cash out? do you have a specific amount that makes it worth it for you, or do you just go with your gut?

for example, when i reach about twice the amount i deposited, i usually find it enough and walk away without pushing my luck too much. doubling your money in gambling isn’t that easy anyway. i think most people have a similar goal around this level.

and lastly, do you ever cash out while in the red? when things go bad, do you sometimes take out less than your initial deposit, thinking, "it's better than nothing"?
In my gambling experience, I have never cashed out of gambling before the game ended. Although I have wanted to cash out once or twice, I have stopped there. I did not cash out because since gambling is a means of entertainment, why would I cash out before receiving entertainment? Even though I am offered a cash out offer that I can cash out now and receive more than my fixed bet amount. Many people may accept such offers voluntarily, but I do not and whether I will do so in the future will be announced later, but not for now.

cashing out mid game is tricky
it usually don't pay as well as holding it until the end but at least it's a way to secure some profits
I think it'll be up to each person to decide what they want to do with their bets, but most of the time it is probably better to hold it instead of cashing out mid game.

Holding up till the end of the game can be very risky, it's better to cashout before the game is settled fully and you losing the bet. My goal is to make profit when I do parlays, combining more than 10 games on a bet slip should give you an awareness that Anyone of those games can ruin your entire bet so instead of letting that happen try not to get greedy and just take whatever amount the bookies offer.
