Does mainstream adoption compromise Bitcoin’s fundamental values and principles?

Is this integration necessary to bring about real change?

Can Bitcoin remain radical if it becomes the new financial standard?

Please drop your thoughts. Curious to see where the plebs, the OGs, and the new blood stand on this one.
Bitcoin adoption by institutions and government has increased centralization which is against the founding principles of the currency.

Bitcoin adoption has increased without mainstream adoption. So it don't think it will bring the necessary change. Rather it will just bring an increase in the value of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin was not designed to replace fiat. Rather, it is an alternative to the fiat system. Bitcoin and fiat will be used side by side in the global economic system for a long time.
