Actually, augmented reality casinos have the potential to reshape the gambling landscape entirely. AR can offer a fully engaging experience, transforming the physical aspects we see at casinos into a digital gaming world with all the possible details. I believe the next generation will gravitate toward AR casinos unless existing projects take proactive steps to counter this threat. For example, online casinos need to start collaborating with developers now to explore the possibility of incorporating AR or VR options into their games. Otherwise, they risk finding themselves left behind, much like what happened to Nokia when touchscreen technology emerged...
What do you think? Are we witnessing the dawn of a new era in gambling? And more importantly, have you ever experienced an AR/VR casino? How was it?

Virtual Reality casinos will be still online casinos, so how can they be a threat? They can be a threat to a typical online casino that wants to keep the old vibe and doesn't want to change anything but for growth-oriented casinos, it will not be a threat but it will become the part of it. Augmented Reality is a thing that might be implemented by physical casinos.
I would not call them a threat at the moment. The technology is still very crude and is far from mainstream adoption. It also is not a threat when it can be adopted into the current casino system, as it gets more popular more casinos will integrate it into their system and it will start to get more refined when more investment funds are pumped in as each tries to outdo the other.

Nothing is a threat until one day when someone comes up with an advanced tech that will blow everyone's mind. I'm into UI/UX design and the way v0 works makes me think twice about my profession.
Btw Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technologies are the future to my mind. I'm already thinking about transitioning into VR UI/UX design.
