The owners of Chelsea would be raving mad if they fail to qualify for the Champions league competition at the end of this season. The league is gradually coming to an end and clubs like Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and Aston Villa are all pushing limits. Enzo Maresca and his boys should better buckle up.
If you're a Chelsea fan, better zero your mind from playing in the champions league next season because Chelsea doesn't stand a chance and even if they do stand a chance, it must be very slimmy. How they started the season with seriousness made us to think they would finished the season in a good position to play in UCL next season but the way they relaxed and drop out of form make it questionable.
I really wish to see them in UCL but the moment they start losing points unnecessarily to average teams and reducing their gap between the lower teams made me to lose hope on them. Their last match against Ipswich Town was a better opportunity for them to maintain their position but they failed to get a full point and consequently lose their position. Manchester United even stand a good chance to play in UCL than Chelsea at the moment.
