It makes it sound like anyone who isnt starting something new or related to those who do is just sitting around waiting for their turn.  But what about the specialists who get really good at one thing? The researchers working hard to make discoveries? The creative artists? Surely they are not just spinning around the important Type 1 and Type 2 people according to this view.  This whole line of thinking comes off to me as narrow-minded and full of itself.  I get the instinct to categorize people into neat little boxes, but real life is usually much messier than that.
Everyone has their own way how to improve his status in life. And as we have experienced, one really need hard work to elevate his condition. Unless, you are born with silver spoon.
For a lot of professionals, they need to work hard in their field of expertise but they will come to the point that they money is just a bonus for them as they are already working for their passion in life.
There is also a luck factor in it, it is inseparable from the word success or success even though in general luck can be created with hard work and consistency so that to change our lives we must continue to do that for luck to happen in life.
Regarding there are several things that must be tried to find or change life I think it only applies to those who have failed on the path they are taking so it is not wrong if there are several things that need to be tried to be able to withdraw from the challenge to be consistent and work hard to create change in life.
