Re: What are some of the dumbest arguments made against Bitcoin?
Bitcoin cannot be a currency, you all are being deceived by a little unknown internet boy.
This will crash very soon and you all will cry about it.
Government is the only one that has the power to print money and not a random small boy.
Invest your time in something meaningful and not on an intangible and non existing money.
This also happens often in my environment, they really don't believe in bitcoin and even make stupid arguments like you said. They even consider Bitcoin as a ponzi scheme, a pyramid scheme, those who buy at the top always profit, this is a fraudulent asset that has no physical and fundamentals.
There are also some of them who are skeptical about crypto because crypto can be banned if all governments if the whole world agrees to reject its existence. So many people think, if banned, crypto will die when in fact Bitcoin is not a company and Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer network. So as long as there is still 1 person who has a node and an internet connection, the system will survive.
Even so, people who don't believe in bitcoin are not our enemies, educate them to better understand the world of crypto. I personally also thought like that at first, but after studying it carefully, it turned out not to be what I thought, in fact Bitcoin is the best asset right now for the long term.
