Why would they attack an educational forum that helps grow the ecosystem?
Same reason why similar platforms have been hacked
Either to show they can do it or access users data (which can be sold or used for social engineering)
Or simple revenge.
Based on what I've read from the last hack, they are selling compromised emails on the dark web, and those who purchase them will continue sending phishing links or spam emails until they can successfully scam the real owners.
How many of us here have used a genuine email address?
Yeah, I think theymos has already learned from those previous hacks.
