I don't think this is the question of whether China would be the world's superpower (Politically, Economically, Militarily, etc), but when will it become that. China has done well for itself in recent times, that's why the US is hating. But guess what, it's too late for that. With the speed at which China is moving, in the next decade, I wonder what its position in the world will be. I hope it will not be intoxicated with power like the US. I trust no country now!
