Wait, what? This shouldn't have been posted here you know. This is not the thread for these Indian leagues and games. I suppose, must have written this with sleepy eyes.
The owners of Chelsea would be raving mad if they fail to qualify for the Champions league competition at the end of this season. The league is gradually coming to an end and clubs like Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and Aston Villa are all pushing limits. Enzo Maresca and his boys should better buckle up.
I never saw this coming, Chelsea been placed under probability of making it to the champions league even after a very good start to the season for them. Even when they fumbled at some point, I was still optimistic and having big hopes on them to bounce back and retain the top four positions. Chelsea should be a rather disgrace if they don’t make it to the champions league. With the teams occupying the first five positions on the league table, it is almost not certain Chelsea can do anything again unless a miracle happens for them. Those teams are consistent and I feel it’ll not be easy for Chelsea to replace any of them on the table standings as it is now.
Chelsea's performance is still a little difficult to guess but for now despite the decline in performance in recent weeks I don't think it can also be used as a means to blame the coach because it cannot be denied that compared to previous seasons where Chelsea were very bad of course this season they are doing a little better.
At the moment their chances are still quite open with the points they have and the margins with several clubs that are above them in the standings which are quite close, the remaining 6 matches can still be the difference but of course this can happen if they can change their performance for the better because 5 matches with 2 wins, 1 loss and 2 draws although it is still quite good for collecting points but of course for a club like Chelsea who hopes to be in the Champions League next season it is still very lacking.
So if indeed they are still eyeing a position in the Champions League zone, inevitably Maresca must be able to further spur the enthusiasm of Chelsea players so that they can be more able to take advantage of opportunities that are currently still open.
