What a paradox!
They are asking participants to break the Bitcoin cryptography then they want to pay them in bitcoin which would become worthless if they succeed Smiley

Project 11 believes that quantum computers will break Bitcoin's 256-bit keys sooner or later.
The "expiration date" of secp256k1 was 2040 (15 years from now) according to SEC. It already is not that long. Curious to see how much shorter they'll make it.
