California’s attorney general is urging consumers to delete their genetic data from their 23andMe accounts.
I don't know if anyone here has a connection with this business but it's better to follow similar method of deleting your data from their accounts.
This is very dumb and wicked of the judge to try manipulating people to thinking that deleting their data from their accounts in anyway reliefs the company of the possession of their data. It's a lame approach to brainwash people to assumed safety of their data.
FYI backups have been made even before they filled for bankruptcy and those data are safely stuffed in another database, so deleting it from their accounts makes no difference.
