With fears of US hegemony collapsing soon, many are wondering which will become the world's biggest superpower. Currently, China is the second-largest economy in the world. It has been advancing rapidly, especially in the areas of AI, and EVs (Electric Vehicles). Companies like Deepseek and BYD are becoming a "force to reckon with".
This makes me wonder if soon China will surpass the US as the world's largest economy? If not, why? What do you think will happen if China reigns supreme in the future? Will it become the leading force of the New World Order?
Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It was always inevitable that China would take a much more leading role in the world economy, after all they have nearly 4 times as many people as the USA and have successfully transitioned their economy from what it was just 30 years ago. The one thing that could undermine and hobble this however is stupid actions of their leadership. Traditionally China has claimed a peaceful path and in fairness compared to some other countries, it has antagonized but not gone into all out war with other countries. Yet since Xi Jinping took power he has started to close the country back up again as these silly dictators do in order to exert absolute power over every facet, but we've already seen this sort of leadership strategy fail many times in the past and it could unravel rather quickly. So I don't think China has got it locked in just yet, even with the USA imploding right now.
