Exactly! That is part of their delusion, they continue trying to show "power" by increasing tariffs more than what China increased to say "our tariffs are higher, so we win". It's as if they see the world as a school yard and economy as a pissing contest

And that's the worst part. In all this chaos, it is t he regular people that suffer, specially the middle class that can no longer afford their cost of living due to increased prices. And soon with the layoffs getting worse we will see a lot of people lose their jobs across the world (China, US and a lot of other countries).
