When we talked about Champions League spot many of us did not include Aston Villa on the list, we felt just Newcastle, Nottingham, Manchester City and Chelsea are on the list of competing aggressively for a fifth spot. Aston Villa performed magic, they were able to score three goals in the second half after playing draw during first 45 minutes. The table is taking a different look, whereas we can't tell who will finally entertain from 3rd position down to 5th place.
You are right, I never expected anything special from Aston villa, but am surprise now that they are climbing the table, I won’t be surprise if Aston villa end up qualifying for the champions league, since we are having just few matches left, then let’s see how all the teams are going to perform, but seriously all the teams fighting for the champions league slot will definitely take all the matches they are having left serious, the race is really tight, and any slight mistake from any team, then they are going to miss out. But seriously am really surprise with the way Aston villa are playing currently, they won all their last 5 premier matches, let’s expect more from Aston villa.
