Not completely experiencing the same, but I heard some stories like yours. We can't say it works because we never know if it was just our luck. But there is one thing I notice when changing to new games is the excitement we feel. We can't say this strategy works, but of course, why not do this if we feel it? Besides, we are gambling to entertain ourselves, and it is boring gambling the same game every day. Some will disagree, but it was our observation, and we do what we think gives us luck.

I have an opposite experience. Every time I try to experience new game, I dont find it exciting and rarely play for a long. Usually it end following, I play 2-5 small bets, usually lose them and close new game tagging it as «not interesting», «difficult to win», and return to usual several games I play. As you say, sometimes it is boring to play «old» games again and again, but sometimes not and I play them for half and hour or so. This can be the reason why I am not addicted to gambling - I play only games that I have been playing for years and relatively quickly lose interest to continue gambling.
