I guess i missed the part where you were nice to someone. But you can ask yourself where this lack of niceness has led you. Has it brought results and whom does it help?
If venting is what helps you, by all means go ahead, but don't be surprised when people avoid talking to you or take you seriously. No matter what you have gone trough, rest of the people aren't responsible of that and no one has to take that.

They didn't know what you were talking about, because you are probably as vague about it as you are in here. No one knows what they are supposed to do with information like "promoting violence against you", because no one knows specifics of that. If you continue to be vague about it, i wouldn't be surprised that no one has any idea how to respond to that.

Try go to front of judge and represent yourself with that attitude and that level of detail. You would get sectioned, because that's how crazy it sounds.
