Only a few percentage of professionals bet over- leverages and aim to win big occasionally but this is mostly done by regular gamblers that sees gambling as a way of becoming financially independent. A regular gambler has no bankroll and also doesn't practice risk management. In point number 7 which of the options is better. The regular gambler views the game as entertainment and the professionals take it as a business, aren't they supposed to be mature enough to know that gambling can not give you a steady source of income.

The very notion of professional gamblers is already something strange. I think it's a bit different, there are sports that are somehow connected with gambling - for example poker. Is that a sport? Yes, it is. Is it related to gambling? In general understanding yes, but not for the professionals themselves, who understand that this game is about controlling emotions and tactics to outmanoeuvre the opponent, and money in this game for them is a way to move on and get an advantage. But for ordinary players, it is the same gambling game, which is no different in any way
