I feel OP is telling the truth and the plagirism was done unintentionally.
The reply OP posted was completely off-topic and had nothing to do with the discussion. If he wanted to do plagirism, he would proabably copy-pasted a text that was relevant to the discussion.

i hope the mods/admins give him a break and unban him.
It's an industry hazard I guess - if you post only for profit you're chances of making mistakes go way up - compared to a person who replies to one conversation at a time.
