Q1 is over and Q2 has just started with BTC making a fool of everyone, give hope of pumping back to 90k but faced a rejection and went for a new low currently lots of traders don't know what to think of the crypto market anymore project postponing their listing date and all things isn't looking suitable for the BTC. Does anyone think we would see BTC at 103k this year, or we would get to 50k or even lower? What are your expectations for BTC this year?
First of all I would ask myself what you are going to do with that information if dozens of answers come up here. If you do some research for yourself, check out the charts from the past and follow some key figures in the bitcoin network, you could see that bitcoin didn't make a fool of anyone. It is not like numbers are decreasing in regards to network participants or countless of transactions with high coinage destroyed. Bitcoin is taking a break as it has numerous times in the past.
The smaller you pick your time window, the more likely it is that you will fail to identify what type of phase bitcoin is actually in. If you think it changed from bull to bear, it still depends on how far you zoom out or in.
Many guys quickly jump the gun and call it a bear market when after climbing more than 100% bitcoin goes down by 20%, but this is not how it works in my opinion. To get an understanding of the broader picture or a reasonable trend, zoom out and see what the price is doing.
Something important to consider is how it bounced back from intermediary crashes to $75k. If it didn't do that, I think more bitcoin holders would be concerned and it did have some momentum to go down further, but it didn't because significant buying support showed up. As long as that is happening, bitcoin moving sideways shouldn't be too concerning for you nor should a correction be from a little bit over $100k to $85k.
It is a question of perspective, the time window you choose and of course if someone bought at $100k, the buyer is not in the green right now. But if that buyer now thinks the decision was bad because it didn't go straight to the moon, maybe thi wasn't the best investment to begin with.
