If you believe you're skilled at sports betting, enough to pick the single best game daily.. could you actually discipline yourself to bet just once per day for an entire season to prove your profitability?
Personally, I'd struggle. The urge for more action would get to me. Even starting with one game, a loss would leave me feeling unsatisfied, tempted to chase and recover immediately rather than wait for the next day.
Hmmm, this is a good experiment TBH, and at the same time, a good training for me as well.
I might be doing this next season (I'm not sure still), and I don't think if I can do it as well. You said it already that the urge of betting on more games to increase your chances of winning will always be there.
On the flip side, this is a good training on how to be more disciplined especially if you're a trader because if you can apply it on gambling, for sure you can also apply it on trading. I just don't know though if I'm at that point already where I can resist my urge for the whole regular season of NBA (since I'm mostly betting on basketball).
Maybe there will be somebody that will do the experiment here, or maybe this playoff since it just started. Betting on one game per day for the entire playoffs just to see their profitability.
