This sets a dangerous precedent. If swaps are liable for how users use crypto, who's next? Wallets? Miners? It'll stifle innovation and drive privacy underground.
They'll go after direct payments if the possibly can. Look at the MiCA regulations for example.
Now that they are locking down the "buy and sell" part of Bitcoin, it wouldn't surprise me one bit I see the come after the "send and receive part". They think they're the guardians of the blockchain.
