USDT withdrawals from BSC(bep 20) has been free for a while now and they're not upholding any integrity in their operations by robbing innocent and unsuspecting users of their money.  You can report them to appropriate authorities for section. They've to be called to order and a detailed auditing done on their records to know the extent of their criminal practices.

I don’t think bsc network transfer has actually been free at all just that the onchain network transfer has been minimal while that of that of exchanges are usually fixed between $0.5 to $1 except the binance exchange which owns the token and it is free to transfer from. But still the initial charges from what OP stated is ridiculously high, but I am seriously surprised because I have seen exchanges extorting funds from users using this fees. Look at bitcoin onchain transfers from exchanges you will see them high and not get reduced, what baffles me is if there is a network congestion you see this exchanges increasing the charges but they don’t reduce the charges during less congested periods as at now. Bitcoin transfers is up to $5 now on exchanges when a $0.5 less can do that
