If newbies do their research well, understand the market history well, and prepare their capital as well as psychology well enough, I think waiting for dips to buy is good strategy. It's good strategy but not best one, because of a missing point in their mind.
I would like to ask you some questions
1. Is waiting for the dip worth it?
2. What if the actual price when you started waiting for the dip is the dip and while waiting the price of bitcoin increased, don't you think if you had bought would have been the best.?
3. What if you see the dip and the dip is so dip and you think if you buy the dip the price of bitcoin will still go dip, because one thing about people who wait for the dip to buy bitcoin, they normally have a specific dip that they are so interested to buy, and if it is not their prefer dip they won't buy.
Why don't you just buy bitcoin anytime you have opportunity to buy and if the price also go dip it is also an avenue to buy more bitcoin than waiting for the dip. People who wait to buy bitcoin in the dip don't understand bitcoin and they may be getting it wrong.
I believe the main reason why most newbie prefer waiting for bitcoin to dip before they can start accumulating bitcoin is because they fail to understand that they can be doing decaing and at the same time keeping some part of there disposable income for buying the dip .Also it is mostly traders that prefer waiting for bitcoin to dip before they can start accumulating since they are into bitcoin for quick profit so they will want to enter into the market when it is favourable for there short term goals.Finaly an investor is not limited to only one of the strategy ,an investor can combine two or all of the strategies during bitcoin accumulation.so waiting for a desire dip morespecially for a low or no coiner is a very bad idea since they need to be persistent in there bitcoin accumulation inorder to have a good stash in there portfolio.
