Re: Ban appeal for Dr.Bitcoin_Strange

What led to this mistake was because I copied the OP's post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5538475.msg65290383#msg65290383) because I wanted to quote a reply to it. I didn't realise when I mistakenly posted it as a reply to another thread which was the first thread I wrote a reply to before I received notification of the new topic that was created and I opened it too on the same tab.

I already wrote and copied the reply that I wanted to post on the z-tight comment on this thread(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5538263.msg65288794#msg65288794), but after I received the notification of that new thread and I opened it and read through it, I also copied some part of that thread that I wanted to quote to make the edit easier for me, but I was a bit distracted, and few minutes later when I opened the forum again, I just pasted what I copied and had on my clipboard, I posted it without even realising it was the other OP's post that I copied last.
I must say this sounds plausible. On the other hand, you were participating in one of the longest spamming campaigns on the forum, and the fact that you don't read your own posts after creating them makes it more likely you're only posting to get paid.
That being said, this comes to mind:
I'm always thinking: what if it happens to me someday? I must have embedded some images I found on Google in some of my old posts. The reference is in the URL, but not in the post.
Recently, I was typing jibberish and totally messing up quotes when I had a fever, and as a family with young kids and busy days I suffer from a continuous lack of sleep. I'd hate to lose access to my favourite forum if I ever mess up one way or another.

Why in the world would you open two tabs, read through two threads, and even post in two different threads at the same time?
I do that with a lot more threads (but not on a phone).

I also don't believe the intent was plagiarism, but rather paid spam.
Stake has been doing that for many years. I'm fine with banning them, but at least ban them for the right reasons.

If @Dr.Bitcoin_Strange did accidentally copy and paste, then why are some of the words he wrote different from the original post?
Good spotting!

If I'm not wrong then some grammar checking software like Grammarly are installed in some people's systems and those might have function to auto correct grammar mistakes.
At this point it looks more like text spinning than correcting grammar.
