Yup same here. I would like to know the basis of this technology. I do not think it is easy to say which side is winning in an economic war. I do not think it is that straight cut. Too many factors that may not even be available to the public that could turn around the situation of things. Not that I want to use this because I would I believe I could make analysis on my own. But I just wanted to see how effective this really is but then I got welcomed by an error. Not a good start.
Either way, the US does not win this, certainly not against China.
The US placed tariffs increase on multiple countries, and a lot of those countries will retaliate and this will mean goods they import from those countries will be more expensive which might lead to an inflation.
Meanwhile, it's only the US that has placed tariffs on China, and they still have a host of other countries that do business with them normally. This is simply an advantage for China.
There's also the fact that China has a lower cost of production compared to the US. The cost of labour in China is also lower than in the US, so the companies won't lose much if tariffs are increased compared to the companies in the US.
