That seemed like the case last cycle when people started publishing their active users information and found that there was rarely more than 1 or 2 people in that metaverse.  It's sad because ultimately I think the metaverse is what will propel altcoins to new heights, but nobody actually uses them for anything.

I thought the Sandbox had a great metaverse and business model, but people just aren't ready for it I think.  Maybe in 8 more years the tech and community will have evolved to take advantage of the metaverse, but right now it's pretty much a zombie hoping to be brought to life.
