I saw this on X about a regular gambler and a professional gambler. From my understanding of it, it is not about the gambler being an addict but just a regular gambler. Which of the statements do you disagree with regarding the two?
7. Entertainment vs. Execution
•Gambler: Views the game as fun or thrilling.
•Professional: Treats it like a business. Fun comes after success.
No gambler, whether or professional or regular gambler should treat gambling as a business, so let me say that I totally disagree with this number 7 on the list you made.
And let me also make it clear that I have a problem will all the points actually, and this is because being a professional gambler depends on the type of game the gambler chooses to focus on, for example, it is very possible for a gambler to be a professional in sports betting, card games like poker, blackjack and so, but when it comes to games like slot games, in-house casino like-slot games, there are absolutely no professionals because there are nothing to learn from when it comes to your previous loses, and future wins completely depends on luck, not any analysis or knowledge of what ever, if anyone claim to be a professional in pure luck based games like slot, they are simply deceiving themself.
