After many years of loyalty and giving his all to Leicester city, Jamie Vardy has decided to leave Leicester city after it has been confirmed that Leicester has been relegated to the championship, the second division of English football. My question is why is he leaving now that he has successfully succeeded in sending Leicester back to relegation. This is not the right moment for him to leave the club. He should have stick with them and make sure he brings them out of of relegation before leaving. The fans will perceive this as a betrayal. Although Jamie Vardy has done enough for the club to command the respect of the fans of Leicester city. He is leaving the club as a legend that's for sure. But to me the timing of his departure doesn't seem right to me.
Jamie vardy was with Leicester city when they recently went on relegation, he stayed through and fought hard for them to come back to the premier League again, he stick with them when they needed him the most, so if it's about sacrifice, he has sacrificed a lot on his own part for the betterment of the club, however if the need has arise for him to leave after 13 years, then i don't think is a call Leicester city fans and well wisher's should frown about, in fact his name should be encrypted in their hall of fame as one of their legends. The striker is 38 years and i don't think there is anything wrong leaving the stage at this point in time for the younger ones.
