To be honest, I would rather gamble with altcoins even if I don't have many or a stablecoin than with my bitcoin. Does anyone else think like that? I feel much more comfortable placing a $50 USDT bet or the equivalent in ether than betting with $50 worth of bitcoin. I am glad that is the case. It means that I value my BTC much more than the other cryptocurrencies and I will think twice before risking to lose them.
I also prefer to bet using altcoins or stablecoins like USDT, in some way. But sometimes I end up betting with BTC balance anyway. Since I have mostly BTC, I deposit coins in BTC rather than any other coin and end up not converting them to USDT or other, I do it later.
i also have mostly bitcoin, and i don't get people why people gamble with bitcoin tbh when they can use altcoins, it's just not a good idea imo.
we all know gambling isn't a game you can win in the long run, so why risk a $$$ worth of BTC today when that same $$$ could be worth $$$$$ in a few years?
like, you are not just donating your bitcoin to the casino, you are also missing out on the potential profit when the price goes up. makes zero sense to me, unless people think they can double their bitcoin or something but we all know that's not gonna happen.
