Rank is deceiving since somehow their are lower rankings that succeed or advance on next round. Playoff atmosphere is different since we could see it here that teams are doing their best to win.

While 8th seeded teams can kick out top seeeded teams, it doesn't happen so often-only 6 times sinve NBA playoff expanded to 16 teams back in 1984, and only 2 8th seeded teams reached NBA finale, but didn't win the title in the end. Lowest rsnk team that won it were Houston Rockets (6th) back in 1995.

3rd Clippers-Nuggets game tonight, but it starts quite early for me (5 AM). I do wake up early, but not that early so I think I'll miss it even though I am very interested to see whether Zubac can continue playing quality defense vs Jokic, as he did in the first 2 games.

I doubt if Zubac can continue that solid defense. One good thing about the playoffs is teams figuring out the other team's playoff and then adapt or change play. I think we'll see more of that in this game.

I think the big thing is if Kawhi can stay on the floor and avoid injury. He's one of the best to play the game but you wouldn't know it because he doesn't seem to give his full effort or play most of the games during the regular seasons. Him in the playoffs is a problem. The Nuggets also don't seem to be playing like they used to. Whether they are a victim of their own success or just don't have the same desire anymore is anyone's guess, but when I watch them play it seems like they just don't make the same effort that they used to.
