When I discuss the wide range of gambling and betting with friends who are not on the forum, I often notice their flawed thinking. If it were just once, I would not have given it a thought but when their flawed thinking about gambling comes up over and over again it makes me torn between wanting to help them change the way they think or just leaving them to continue with such thinking until some major gambling experience happens and changes it for them. Some type of this flawed thinking is borrowing money from loan apps to gamble thinking that when they win they will pay back the loan and its interest and keep the rest for themselves. They call this gambling, with other people's money. Another flawed thinking is their belief that paid between groups will make them become millionaires faster than if they are not in the paid group. There are others like this.
You soon learn if somebody is receptive to advice or completely ignores it, I'll often share tips with friends (and am happy to receive them) when I know that they might be used. However some people are simply bone headed and ignorant, unwilling to take in information that might improve their lives but often saying that they want to learn. You simply cannot help certain people because they have the wrong mindset in life. People can even change over time and it's a fact that people can become set in their ways (or bad habits) as they get older, which makes it harder for them to adapt or re-learn to remove their bad behaviors. There are some "know it alls" that have a very dismissive attitude and actually become offended when you try to share some ideas with them that clashes with what they consider the truth.
There are those hard headed ones on which no matter how hard or often you do tell them about the risks involved and the potential out comes that might happen, they do still decide to continue no matter what. There are indeed people who are close minded on which if the thing into their mind tells them to gamble then no matter what those words that they will be heard on will be just that simply rejected or ignored and that sucks.
You are showing up some concerns since you do already project out on what would happen into them specially that gambling addiction could lead up into disaster when it comes into your finances. You can be able to definitely be able to know on what would happen next on just simply using up your own common sense. We dont like on getting involved into something that other peoples money that being used because i dont really want for me to interrupt on what they are dealing into but if ever you do see those potential harm that lies ahead then giving out some advises is something that wont be stopped that comes out into my mouth.
There are just that those many times or moments that I've been ignored and them ended up on disaster.
