Nico Williams is essentially one of the great players in Athletic Club. His presence matters and there's every tendency for the club to beckon greatness this season. They're important phase in the semi final of the Europa League. I don't believe news that tangled Chelsea with uprising talents in Europe. We all know the scouting sector of the Blues, they're incompetent and not making good decisions when it comes to signings.
Chelsea have missed out on big chances in the past and I see no difference for the club currently, they can slowly fade away because they're not making good signings, immature choices ruined their form and make them decline in performance. This is not just a good reason for the club to be far behind.
There is a very high chance that Chelsea might have picked interest in him, one thing that I have notice with this current Chelsea squad and it is the fact their left wing position becomes empty once he is not played there and as soon the likes of Pedro Neto are taking there the wing becomes dead. So this interest in Nico Williams and the fact that there is option for them to bring Sancho back to Manchester United and a move it is looking like Chelsea will pick is making this Nico Williams chase interesting.
For me I will say it is a huge gamble if they completely abandon this Sancho deal and go ahead to spend somewhat around £80m on the player, Sancho even though shows his laziness is the difference maker for Chelsea in their attacking option now from that left wing position, sighing him for £25M is seriously going to reserve funds for other positions like the center back position which needs serious intervention.
