I think gambling strategies are dangerous because they can give you a false sense of hope and cause you to lose everything. Better is just knowing that over time you are right, nobody beats the casino. You can take that knowledge and if you ever get ahead, walk away and be glad you won money. Otherwise you are paying for entertainment.
The thing is that, in that scenario, the "walking away" part has to be definitive.
If you come back, say, tomorrow, then it's basically the same as never walking away, as the odds are the same.
The best case scenario is someone that played once in their life, won a big prize, and walked away forever.
I don't think anyone has ever done that, because winning at the first try has so tiny probabilities and then when they win, then greed takes over and most people would want to continue gambling and that's how they end up losing it all.
