I think instead of pushing adoption through social platforms, it would be better if governments and more institutional investors begin to accept crypto as this will increase market stability and bring in more liquidity. It’s not about growing numbers anymore, we should maintain the quality of the space.

I see your point, it's just that it's not going to work out the way you want it to, because there's nothing that can hold back wider scale adoption, and when it comes to restrictions on social media, it's quite difficult to do, each person has different interests based on the benefits and profit opportunities for each party.
Behind the marketing that they do to attract more people to adopt a particular token, there is something they want to achieve, besides the opportunity for profit, many of them want to seek fame.
