We want Manchester United to not lose in the first leg at San Mames so that later in the second leg at Old Trafford they can target a positive result.
A draw in the first leg will be very beneficial for Manchester United to hope for more in the second leg. In terms of performance, Bilbao is better if you look at La Liga while Manchester United is bad in the English Premier League. While in the Europa League, Manchester United have never lost that I know of.
Manchester United's good record throughout the Europa League gives us confidence that Manchester United can play in the final, but I don't dare to guarantee it. If Manchester United can make it to the final and the opponent is Tottenham, I will bet on Manchester United.
So far Man United in the European league is very good and it is not wrong if Man United has never lost in the European league. This is what makes many people think that Man United's hopes of winning the European title are there even though they are very inconsistent in the domestic league but very different when playing in the European league. Bilbao is indeed not an easy opponent, but if in the first leg Man United can hold a draw that is good enough because Man United has a greater chance in the second leg.
That's why I want Manchester United to be able to achieve good results when playing in the first leg later on May 2 as they tried in France when facing Lyon even though Athletic Bilbao is not the same as Lyon.

However, interestingly the remaining teams in the Europa League semifinals this season all have their own motivations to win the Europa League. For Tottenham, this is the only chance for them to end the season and pin them so they can play in the Champions League next season as well as Man United. For Bodø of course he wants to make a surprise and make history as an underdog team to win the Europa League trophy and for Athletic they want to win the trophy at home.. lol. Because this season the Europa League final will be held at the San Mames stadium.
Spurs are also not doing well this season. If they expect more in the UEFA Europa League, I think it's not wrong with the intention of not underestimating Bodo because Bodo, an underdog team, was able to eliminate Lazio in the quarter-finals.
